The Charity section in www.ipoh.com.my is created especially for the
underprivileged in our community. Under this section, you will find a list of
charity organisations that will benefit greatly from your assistance.
We hope that you will lend them a helping hand by contributing in your own way
to these organisations. Your contribution can be in the form of donations such
as money, food, clothes, used items, etc. You can also become a volunteer and
share your skills, interest, energy, experience and time to assist any of the
charities listed under this section.
If you wish to contribute, please get in touch with the charity organisation
concerned as we do not collect donations on their behalf. We only provide
information to assist you in making an informed donation. It is best that you
contact the organisation of your choice to confirm its needs.

The Buddhist Tzu Chi Merit Society located at Jalan Gopeng, Ipoh, Perak Darul
Ridzuan, is a worldwide non-profit organisation with offices in 20 countries and
millions of membership. It was set up with the aim to provide relief and
assistance to the poor and needy regardless of race, religion and nationality in
the fields of charity, medicine, education, culture, environmental conservation,
bone marrow donation and international relief. Its members are all volunteers
who perform their duties with the spirit of sincerity, integrity, trust and
honesty. While you may not be a member of this organisation, you can still show
your support by donating papers or old newspapers, products made from plastic,
old clothes and any old items that can be sold off to add to its fund. Please
spare some of your time to send the items to the following address :
